4. To move the pieces, the player needs to roll the die. To get a piece out of its original place, the player needs to roll a 6. Without getting 6 on the die, the player cannot move the piece from its original position to the path shown in the image above.

6. Players can hinder the progress of other players' pieces by returning them to their original position and making them start over if two pieces are on the same square.
7. There are 8 safe squares on the board where this rule is excluded. Players cannot be obstructed on these squares, nor can they block their opponents in the same way. These squares are shown in the image.
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
8. The player who manages to get all four pieces to the big square in the center wins.

Game modes

Ludo Star 2017 offers four different game modes for players to choose from:

1. One ON One: This mode allows you to play against a random opponent in an online interactive game.

5. If your game piece reaches a safe square and there are opponent's pieces close behind, it's best to avoid moving that piece. Instead, try moving other pieces to force the opponent to move a piece past the safe square. This will give you an opportunity to block their progress.
