WakeMeOnLan

The program collects MAC addresses while the computers are running and save them so that when they are turned off or in a standby mode the user can easily wake them up with a single click.

The user can also invoke the utility from the command-line to turn on the computers by specifying their IP address, MAC address or name.

System requirements

• In some Windows 7/8 systems, Wake-on-LAN does not work if the request is sent on the broadcast 255.255.255.255. If that is the case then you need to select Broadcast Address According to IP Address.
• The utility works on Windows 2000 up to Windows 10 that includes 32-bit and 64-bit versions.
• You can turn on computers only if the Wake-on-LAN feature is enabled in the remote computers, this feature is either enabled from the BIOS or through the network adapter settings.

How to use WakeMeOnLan

WakeMeOnLan does not require any installation or extra files (only the translation file if you prefer another language), all you need to do is to download the program and run the executable file directly.

After running the program Start Scanning by clicking the option in the file menu or by tapping F5 on the keyboard, this option collects MAC address, IP address, and computer names this data is saved and updated on a file named WakeMeOnLan.cfg.

After the scanning is done you can view the existing devices on the main window of the program, where turned on devices are marked green and turned off devices marked red, you can select what devices to turn on then click on Wake Up Selected Computers or simply tap F8 on the keyboard.
