I stopped playing this game a few years back when it got a little too "Pay to Win" for my liking. I picked it back up recently while catching up on TWD show and have seen that it has gotten WAY worse. The addition of 6 star and Mythic characters has rendered my once respectable group of characters nearly useless and a vast majority of events and roadmap missions require entire teams of high level Mythics. Matchmaking in raids is badly broken as well. It's a fun game if you're loaded, I'm sure.

As much as I enjoy this game and it's gameplay, playing the story angers me. The story options are often vague without explicitly explaining what they mean. I have accidentally killed a character because "punished" for a crime is incredibly vague and means death. Other times the choices seem incredibly meaningless. The gameplay is enjoyable real time strategy, leveling, exploration, and more. But, the story choices are just an annoyance or a disappointment.

The most expensive game I've ever seen, and they keep taking steps toward widening the wall between free to play and pay to win. Many events can easily cost upwards $200,or bundles $99, by the time they release the toon with a free method to obtain,it will be useless, replaced by more and more ridiculously overpowered toons until the game becomes unplayable & they reset it.... again. Stay far away. And to be honest,it's a miserable repetitive grind,not allowing any free time for serious players
