Setting up the app

Before using the app you will need to grant the app access to modify calls and allow the app to appear on top of other apps. These steps are necessary to allow the app to replace the ordinary ringtone.

Another necessary step is the registration which is done by verifying your phone's number.

Watch and download videos

Videos appear on the main interface of Vyng arranged and categorized based on type. Vyng will also suggest popular videos based on how many people watched them. You will be able to switch between videos by swiping right and left. You will be able to download, like and share any video.

Find new videos

If you are looking for a particular video then you can use the search bar on top. When the bar is selected it will suggest the most popular keywords used as hashtags, you can select one of the suggestions or simply enter your own search query. Videos can be selected as a ringtone for a particular contact, downloaded or shared on your profile.

Choose video as a ringtone

Setting up a video for your contacts is easy, just go to the ringtones section then assign each contact a video by browsing available videos. Different videos can be assigned to each contact separately or set a single video for all or the rest of the contacts.

Share videos

You can upload your own videos to your Vyng profile, use them as ringtones, and share them with the Vyng community. To do this tap on the camera icon, then cut the video to the desired length and add hashtags to make it easier for others to find it.
